When you give to Creative Aging Network-NC, you support our mission to enhance the well-being of older adults across our state through creative arts programming, education, and training. Your gift is especially helpful during this pandemic as we work to reduce loneliness and improve the mental health of older adults through visual arts classes and creative kits.

We have many active programs that are ongoing and we are happy to reopen the building with a Resident Art Exhibition. But in the meantime, our work continues! Because of the repercussions of the pandemic this year, we need your help to continue the valuable work we’re doing. Your support will help us to continue:

Elder Arts Initiative, providing residents in skilled care facilities in Greensboro, High Point, Burlington, Mebane, Denton, and Asheboro with professional art lessons and other creative engagement.
Mindful Art Journaling, online art lessons with meditative exercises.
International Garden, providing a place for refugee immigrants to grow plants native to their countries and an opportunity to socialize.
Art Classes, workshops, and special events at our campus in Greensboro.
Music Programs for Jewish Elders.
Ongoing Kitchen Renovation so we can offer cooking classes and demonstrations.
Ongoing Building Renovations to bring the building up to date aesthetically and functioning properly for the staff, tenants, and public.
Art Exhibitions with refreshments that are free and open to the public.
Training and consulting for healthcare professionals and artists across the state.
Educational workshops and interactive presentations for associations, clubs, conferences, and special events.

The Center for Creative Aging North Carolina operating as Creative Aging Network-NC is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; EIN 33-1145536.

General donations can be made to help us purchase art supplies, pay our teaching artists, and provide special events for health care professionals, artists, older adults and community members across the state. Donate online using either of the links above or mail your tax-deductible gift to:

We are raising money to continue our Elder Arts Initiative and any donation will help make that happen. Launched in January 2020, EAI is a 3-year project to provide a variety of creative arts programs to residents in certified nursing homes across North Carolina. Funding has been provided by a North Carolina Culture Change Coalition Enhancement Grant in conjunction with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As our funding comes to an end and while we wait for approval on an extension, we need funds to continue the valuable work we have been doing. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause!
