Unlock your creativity in this 4-week pottery class! With personalized guidance, you’ll learn the basics of wheel-throwing along with some hand-building techniques. Whether you’re a clay rookie or have some experience, join us to explore this exclusive chance to dive into the world of pottery! $200 fee which includes 4 weeks of instruction, plus a $25 materials which includes clay, glazes, and firing. Join us for a fun night of clay play with your special someone! In celebration of Greensboro Pride during the month of September, we are offering 2 date nights for LGBTQ+ couples. Sign up for one or sign up for both! We’ll begin with music, charcuterie, and wine, and then head up to the studio for an
introductory lesson in wheel throwing.
Ashley Jones will demonstrate some basic wheel throwing and then you will try your hands at making your own piece of pottery. This four-week class will introduce students to the fundamentals of working on the wheel. The focus will be on basics; cylinders, bowls and plates. Techniques for centering, opening, and pulling up clay will be covered. No prior wheel experience is required. $200 (includes clay, glazes, and firing).
