We are now offering Open Studio Hours in the Clay Studio!
All previously enrolled adult students have access to the studio during open studio hours. $25 per 3-hour session. Must use CAN-NC clay and glazes. Clay can be purchased for $25 per bag.
*Cancellation Policy: Registration fees are refundable up until 7 days prior to the start of the class. Email kelly@can-nc.org to receive a refund. *We follow Guilford County School’s inclement weather policy and will be closed or delayed when GCS is closed or delayed.

Watercolor Landscapes
Wednesdays, June 4, 18, and 25 from 10:00am – 12:00pm
In this class we’ll celebrate the colors of spring by exploring the various ways we can use watercolor. We will experiment to find new ways of expression in this media. Location: 2400 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC 27405
Spring Sun Catchers
Wednesday, June 11th from 5:00-7:30 pm
Create your very own vibrant and magnificent sun catcher!
Join Nancy and Vanita to celebrate the colors of Spring in this unique Sun Catcher class. They will guide you step-by-step through the process for creating your own beaded art piece, ensuring your design will bring brilliance and warmth into your home. Cost with supplies included: $40

CAN’s Grands Summer Camps
June 14th and July 26th
from 9:00am – 3:00pm
A One-of-a-Kind Experience for Grandparents & Grandkids! Designed for grandparents of any age and grandkids (ages 6-14), this immersive experience fosters creativity and connection through hands-on activities. Choose from two dates: June 14th and July 26th. The cost: $99 for one grandparent and one grandchild. Additional participants can join for just $35 each. All supplies included! Both camps will provide a Farm-to-Table Lunch featuring fresh vegetables from our garden! Spots are limited—sign up early!

Summer Solstice Mask Making Workshop
Monday, June 16, from 1-4pm
Bring your enthusiasm as we prepare to celebrate our upcoming Summer Solstice with this fun-filled workshop! The significance of the Summer Solstice varies among cultures, but most recognize the event in some way with festivals and rituals. Vanita will provide a wide range of mixed media art supplies for you to choose from along with a paper mâché mask to create a personal design inspired by our longest day of the year and all it represents. CAN’s Caregivers Camp: An Arts & Nature Retreat for Caregivers
& Their Aging Loved Ones

Summer Acrylic Painting Series
with Craig Richards
Tuesdays, June 17th – Aug 5th
from 1:00-3:00pm
This 8-week class will include instructor led teaching with painting and color mixing demonstrations. Each student will receive individual guidance during the class. Students will learn the basics of how to create a painting from start to finish. Photo references will be provided. $280 for the 8-week course ($35/class). All supplies included. Live Model Sketching Workshops

This workshop is for students of all levels of experience. The class will include instructor led insights and demonstrations into sketching a live model.
